Flavored syrups and infused honey are among the most versatile products you can make with Flavorah concentrates. 

Perfect for making low calorie syrups and sweeteners focused on a ketogenic diet. Flavorah's potent formulation means you need very little to create a richly flavored syrup sweeteners based on allulose, monk fruit, stevia, or xylitol. 

Recommended Usage Rates

• Allulose, Monk Fruit, Stevia leaf or Xylitol syrup enhancement: 0.25-0.75%
• Simple syrup (50:50 water - sugar): 0.5-1.5% by weight (typical 1.0%)
• Rich syrup (2:1 sugar to water): 0.5-1.5% up to 5%
• Agave, Honey, & Maple Syrup infusions: 0.25-0.75% (typical 0.5%), warm honey first

Technique

For flavoring heated syrups, such as beverage simple syrups, dissolve sugar in water over medium heat, then remove from heat and stir in Flavorah concentrate while the syrup is still warm but not boiling. For honey, warm the honey gently until it flows easily, then blend in the concentrate thoroughly.

Store flavored syrups in clean glass bottles in the refrigerator. Simple syrup lasts 2-4 weeks, and honey-based infusions keep even longer due to honey's natural preservative properties.

Recipe Ideas

• Vanilla bean syrup: add Flavorah Vanilla Custard at 1.5% for a coffee shop staple
• Hot honey: add Flavorah Cinnamon at 0.5% to warmed honey for pizza, biscuits, or fried chicken
• Peach agave: add Flavorah Peach at 0.5% to agave nectar for margaritas and iced tea

Syrups can use higher concentrations of Flavorah than most applications because they serve as a flavoring medium in other recipes and flavors easily meld with concentrates. The flavor dilutes when the syrup is dispensed into a drink or dish.
