Frosting and fondant are high-impact applications for Flavorah concentrates because they sit on top of baked goods where flavor is immediately noticed. Flavorah's potent formula means just a few drops per cup delivers bold, clean flavor without thinning buttercream consistency or making fondant sticky.

Recommended Usage Rates

• Buttercream frosting: 0.25-0.5% (4-8 drops per cup of frosting)
• Cream cheese frosting: 0.2-0.5% (add after cream cheese is softened)
• Marshmallow frosting: 0.25-0.75% (add during whipping)
• Fondant: 0.15-0.25% (3-5 drops per cup, knead in)

Technique

For buttercream, add Flavorah concentrate during the whipping stage after butter and sugar are creamed together. For cream cheese frosting, add after the cream cheese is fully softened to ensure even mixing. For fondant, knead drops in alongside food coloring, working the fondant until color and flavor are uniformly distributed.

Recipe Ideas

• Strawberry buttercream: add Flavorah Rich Strawberry at 6 drops per cup for a pink-tinted fruit frosting
• Lemon cream cheese frosting: add Flavorah Lemon at 4 drops per cup for a bright, tangy finish
