The water-soluble formula integrates cleanly into both gelatin-based and pectin-based recipes.

Recommended Usage Rates

• Fruit snacks: 0.25-0.75% by weight (typical 0.5%)
• Pectin gummies: 0.25-0.75%
• Vitamin and supplement gummies: 0.3-0.75% to mask supplement taste

Technique

Add Flavorah concentrate to the cooled mixture after cooking but before pouring into molds. For gelatin-based recipes, wait until the mixture has cooled to around 160F before adding concentrate. For pectin-based fruit snacks, add after the pectin has set and the mixture has been removed from heat. Stir thoroughly to ensure even flavor distribution across all pieces.

Citric acid coatings on sour gummies can slightly mute internal flavor. Increase concentrate by 10-20% for sour-coated products.
