Yogurt and kefir are cultured dairy products that pair beautifully with Flavorah concentrates. The creamy, tangy base carries and balances concentrated flavors well, and Flavorah's formula is safe for use with live active cultures. Whether you are making homemade yogurt, flavoring store-bought plain yogurt, or brewing milk kefir, a few drops deliver custom flavor with no added sugar.

Recommended Usage Rates

• Yogurt: 0.2-0.5% by weight (typical 0.3%)
• Kefir: 0.2-0.4%
• Yogurt parfaits and bowls: 0.2-0.4% mixed into the yogurt layer
• Frozen yogurt: 0.25-0.5% (slightly higher for frozen applications)

Technique

For homemade yogurt, add Flavorah concentrate after fermentation is complete and the yogurt has been chilled. Fold in gently to avoid breaking the set texture. For kefir, add after straining the grains and blend gently. For store-bought plain yogurt, simply stir in drops and enjoy. This gives you complete control over flavor without the added sugars found in pre-flavored products.

Recipe Ideas

• Strawberry Greek yogurt: fold Flavorah Rich Strawberry at 0.3% into plain Greek yogurt for a sugar-free fruit yogurt
• Vanilla honey kefir: add Flavorah Vanilla Custard at 0.3% to strained kefir with a drizzle of honey

Flavorah concentrates will not harm live cultures at recommended rates. Always add after fermentation, never before or during.
