Flavor Profile
Flavorah Strawberry Smash gives the maker a dynamic, full strawberry that can go either way: bright enough for candy, rich enough for custard.
The strawberry notes are dynamic and full, not overly candy in tone but bright and brilliant enough for a candy flavor, and rich enough to pull down into a custard or cream base. Customers often pair it with Flavorah Strawberry in cream pies and cake rolls.
Strawberry Smash can lead a recipe or add another dimension to a strawberry blend. Start small and build, and decide early whether you are steering toward candy brightness or creamy depth; the right partners take it either way.
Create Endless and Indelible Memories with Flavorah
All the flavors that we make at Flavorah are designed for mixing complex, layered recipes for products that may be consumed. Even though this Strawberry Smash flavor will stand alone with memorable and captivating notes, we believe you will enjoy it most when you blend it with other flavors. It is our mission to create concentrates and extracts that become a powerful tool of flavor art in your culinary palette.
Use this Strawberry Smash flavoring concentrate to develop your own artistic creations. As you blend it together with other complementary flavor layers, it will develop nuances and notes that either soften or strengthen according to your desire.
The layers of a completed flavoring profile can come from another Flavorah concentrate, such as Strawberry or Whipped Cream, or from the medium you choose to mix it with. Try mixing Flavorah in baked goods, sweet frosting, syrups, a sugar-free smoothie, or a cocktail beverage.
Flavorah makes flavor art into an expression of individual perception and beauty. Our flavoring is designed to empower you to communicate this balance of potent perfection with the sense of taste and smell. Our Strawberry Smash flavoring can harness the passing moments of enjoyment that will be experienced by everyone who samples your creation.
Flavorah is a product meant for the artist who wants to be tasted not heard, and smelled but not seen.
We know success when we see the satisfaction on the faces of our customers who create their own recipes. We delight in seeing our customers' recipes making the world a more bountiful experience for everyone to enjoy.
Layering Partners
Our customers around the globe have discovered that Strawberry Smash layers well for memorable and complex creations:
- Flavorah Strawberry: 3:8 (Strawberry Smash to Strawberry) for a fuller strawberry in cream desserts
- Flavorah Whipped Cream: 3:11 (Strawberry Smash to Whipped Cream) in a strawberry cream pie
- Flavorah Vanilla Custard: 1:4 (Strawberry Smash to Vanilla Custard) for a custard filling
Strawberry Smash also works with these; let your palate set the balance:
- Flavorah Pound Cake and Flavorah Sweet Cream for a strawberry cake roll or shortcake
- Flavorah Vanilla Pudding and Flavorah Caramel for a richer dessert base
Mood Through Combination
In a cream pie with custard and whipped cream, Strawberry Smash feels comforting and nostalgic. In a light sponge with sweet cream it becomes quietly indulgent, a refined dessert that reveals itself slowly.
Recipe Ideas
Spellbound: Vanilla Custard, Whipped Cream, Strawberry, Sweet Cream, Vanilla Pudding, Caramel, and Strawberry Smash at 12:11:8:6:4:4:3, a strawberry cream pie that improves with rest. Velvet Strawberry Roll: Strawberry, Pound Cake, Cream, Sweet Cream, Strawberry Smash, Smooth Vanilla, Sweetness, Marshmallow, Lemon, and Vanilla Bean at about 54:32:14:12:7:6:5:5:4:4, a light sponge rolled around strawberry cream with a dry, powdered-sugar finish.
Mixing Notes
For a cream dessert, pair Strawberry Smash with Flavorah Strawberry at roughly three parts to eight and let the cream carry the body. For candy, let it lead with a little Sweetness. A very small touch of Lemon brightens a sponge without tasting of lemon.
Building a Recipe
Start with a small amount, taste, and build in small steps, testing in your own batch. As the lead strawberry it sits toward the middle of each range; as a second strawberry beside Flavorah Strawberry, lower. Set the ratios first, then adjust the total.
