Recipe Concepts
Create stone fruit medley by combining with Flavorah Peach. For nectarine yogurt, blend with Flavorah Greek Yogurt. Works in stone fruit and summer applications.
Mixing Notes
The smooth-skinned character differs from fuzzy peach. Sweeter and brighter than peach. Juicy and smooth mouthfeel. Best in fruit and summer applications.
Beverage Applications
For nectarine drinks and stone fruit beverages, add 0.3-0.5% to base for authentic character. The sweet profile creates refreshing drinks.
- Nectarine drinks: 0.3-0.5% of base
- Smoothies: 0.3-0.5% blended
- Sparkling water: 2-4 drops per 100ml
- Cocktails: 3-5 drops per 100ml
Confectionery Applications
For nectarine candy and stone fruit confections, add 0.4-0.6% to cooled mixture. Creates sweet stone fruit treats.
- Nectarine gummies: 0.4-0.6% in cooled mixture
- Hard candy: 0.4-0.6% at end of cook
Dairy and Frozen
For nectarine ice cream, add 0.4-0.6% to base before churning. Creates stone fruit frozen desserts.
Baking Applications
For nectarine desserts, add 0.3-0.5% by weight with wet ingredients. Creates summer baked goods.
Usage Notes
Flavorah concentrates are highly potent. Start at less than 0.4% and adjust. Sweeter and brighter than peach.

Flavorah® is a food grade flavoring concentrate intended for further processing in products that may be ingested. This product is a raw material and must be further processed for use; not for personal consumption in this form. Flavorah can be used in any application that requires GRAS (Generally Recognized as Safe) for food ingredients. See MSDS for futher saftey and handling instructions.
WARNING: Exposure may result in irritation of the eyes, skin, nose, throat and respiratory tract. Avoid contact with undiluted flavor concentrate. If contact is made, seek medical attention as follows:
- Eyes: Immediately flush with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes, occasionally opening the upper and lower eyelids.
- Skin: Immediately flush skin with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. Remove contaminated clothing.
- Ingestion: Harmful if swallowed. Nausea and vomiting may occur. Call poison control: 1 (800) 222-1222
WARNING: This product may contain compounds that may be hazardous to your health. We do not add Diacetyl or Acetyl Propionyl (a/k/a 2,3-pentanedione) to any of our products, however diacetyl and/or acetyl propionyl may naturally occur in the flavor extraction process in some of our products.
