Flavor Profile
Flavorah Mangotang hands the creative maker a mango with attitude: a zesty, sweet burst of ripe mango, chilled and ready for drinks, desserts, and snacks.
It is sharper and greener than a classic sweet mango, with a mouth-puckering zing, a piney lift that lingers on the nose, and a little natural funk. The body is juicy and round, between a dense nectar and a light, bright mango, and the sweetness rises as a mix rests.
Use Mangotang as the zesty lead in drinks and candy, or as the bright edge in a layered mango recipe. Start small and build, and taste again after resting, since the sweetness comes forward over time. It is a tropical treat that rewards bold pairings.
Create Endless and Indelible Memories with Flavorah
All the flavors that we make at Flavorah are designed for mixing complex, layered recipes for products that may be consumed. Even though this Mangotang flavor will stand alone with memorable and captivating notes, we believe you will enjoy it most when you blend it with other flavors. It is our mission to create concentrates and extracts that become a powerful tool of flavor art in your culinary palette.
Use this Mangotang flavoring concentrate to develop your own artistic creations. As you blend it together with other complementary flavor layers, it will develop nuances and notes that either soften or strengthen according to your desire.
The layers of a completed flavoring profile can come from another Flavorah concentrate, such as Ripe Mango or Lime, or from the medium you choose to mix it with. Try mixing Flavorah in smoothies, sorbet, gummies, or a tropical cocktail.
Flavorah makes flavor art into an expression of individual perception and beauty. Our flavoring is designed to empower you to communicate this balance of potent perfection with the sense of taste and smell. Our Mangotang flavoring can harness the passing moments of enjoyment that will be experienced by everyone who samples your creation.
Flavorah is a product meant for the artist who wants to be tasted not heard, and smelled but not seen.
We know success when we see the satisfaction on the faces of our customers who create their own recipes. We delight in seeing our customers' recipes making the world a more bountiful experience for everyone to enjoy.

Recipe Ideas
Try these ideas from our kitchen. Chili Mango Lime Gummies: Mangotang, Sweetness, Lime, and Heat at 8:2:2:1, a sweet, zesty mango gummy with a chili-lime finish. Hazy Mango Brew: Mangotang, Yakima Hops, Tropical Citrus, and Pineapple at 6:2:2:1, a juicy, hop-forward mango note for home-brewed beer or a hop water. Three-Mango Nectar: Ripe Mango, Sweet Mango, and Mangotang at 3:2:1, a full-spectrum mango with nectar depth, bright sweetness, and a zesty, piney edge for smoothies, sorbets, and cocktails.
Mixing Notes
Mangotang's sweetness grows as a mix rests, so judge it the next day before adjusting. Lime and a touch of Heat play up its zing; Ripe Mango softens it into nectar.
Building a Recipe
Shape a recipe one layer at a time: start with a small amount, taste, and build in small steps, testing in your own batch. As the zesty lead it sits toward the middle of each range; as the bright edge in a mango blend, lower. Set the ratios first, then adjust the total.
DIY Flavoring in the Kitchen or Behind the Bar
- Beverages (home brew, cocktails, sodas): 0.03-1.5% of the finished drink; start at 0.1%, about 7 drops per 8 oz glass or about 19 ml in a 5-gallon home brew. Try it in a hop water or a hazy home brew.
- Custom syrups: 2% or stronger (1 part flavor to 50 parts syrup); start at 2%, about 1 tsp per cup of syrup. Make it bold, then dose the syrup to taste.
- Baking: 0.2-3% by weight of batter or dough; start at 1%, about 1 tsp per 500 g of cake batter.
- Frostings, fillings, dairy, and frozen: 0.1-2% by weight; start at 0.3%, about 45 drops per 500 g of frosting.
- Candy and gummies: 0.2-4% by weight; start at 0.5%, about 1/2 tsp per 500 g batch. Add as the batch cools. Chili-lime mango gummies are a natural fit.
- DIY fishing bait: 0.5-5% or higher by weight of bait; start at 1%, about 1 tsp per pound of dough bait.
- DIY animal attractants: 1-5% or higher by weight; start at 2%, about 1 3/4 tsp per pound of attractant.
- Home aroma (candles, diffusers, room sprays): 1-5% by weight of wax or base; start at 2%, about 1 3/4 tsp per 16 oz candle.
