Flavor Profile
Flavorah Guava Dark Berry hands the flavor artist a versatile two-tone fruit: bright tropical guava up front and dark berries close behind.
The guava is authentic and gently piney without being too funky, sweet-sour and extremely juicy, with a light grapefruit and pear touch. Dark berry notes arrive on the back end and give the profile depth.
Intensity is moderate. Guava Dark Berry stands on its own and bridges tropical and berry blends with ease. Start small and build, and get creative; it fits sodas, punches, gummies, and sorbets.
Create Endless and Indelible Memories with Flavorah

Layering Partners
Guava Dark Berry layers well with these partners; let your palate set the balance:
Ideas to explore:
- Flavorah Boysenberry and Flavorah Blackberry to deepen the dark berry finish
- Flavorah Lemonade for a guava berry lemonade or agua fresca
- Flavorah Pink Guava for a brighter, more tropical guava
- Flavorah Pear for a softer orchard note
Mood Through Combination
With lemonade, Guava Dark Berry feels joyful and picnic-bright. With dark berries it turns playful and deep, and with pink guava it leans into an easy poolside afternoon.
Recipe Ideas
Try a guava berry lemonade with Lemonade, a dark berry guava gummy with Boysenberry, or a tropical sorbet with Pink Guava. Start each with a small amount and adjust in test batches.
Mixing Notes
The guava leads and the berries follow, so add a dark berry partner when you want more depth, or a citrus partner to brighten the guava.
Building a Recipe
Start with a small amount, taste, and build in small steps, testing in your own batch. As the lead fruit it sits toward the middle of each range; as a tropical accent in a berry blend, lower. Set the ratios first, then adjust the total.

- Candy and gummies: 0.2-4% by weight; start at 0.5%, about 1/2 tsp per 500 g batch. Add as the batch cools. A juicy choice for gummies.
- DIY fishing bait: 0.5-5% or higher by weight of bait; start at 1%, about 1 tsp per pound of dough bait.
- DIY animal attractants: 1-5% or higher by weight; start at 2%, about 1 3/4 tsp per pound of attractant.
