Recipe Concepts

Create menthol tobacco by combining with Flavorah Virginia Tobacco. For icy slushies, blend with Flavorah Blue Raz or other candy fruits. Works as essential cooling element in countless applications.

Mixing Notes

The balanced cooling is smooth rather than harsh. Pairs naturally with fruits and tobaccos. Can be layered with other cooling agents for intensity. Start conservatively as menthol builds.

Beverage Applications

For menthol drinks and cooling beverages, add 0.1-0.3% to base for refreshing character. The clean profile creates icy drinks. For mint cocktails, add 1-2 drops per 100ml.

Iced beverages: 0.1-0.3% for cooling
Mint cocktails: 1-2 drops per 100ml
Slushies: 0.15-0.25% for icy effect

Confectionery Applications

For menthol candy and cooling confections, add 0.15-0.3% to the mixture. Creates refreshing mint treats.

Hard candy: 0.15-0.3% at end of cook

Flavorah^® is a food grade flavoring concentrate intended for further processing in products that may be ingested. This product is a raw material and must be further processed for use; not for personal consumption in this form. Flavorah can be used in any application that requires GRAS (Generally Recognized as Safe) for food ingredients. See MSDS for futher saftey and handling instructions.

WARNING: Exposure may result in irritation of the eyes, skin, nose, throat and respiratory tract. Avoid contact with undiluted flavor concentrate. If contact is made, seek medical attention as follows:

Eyes: Immediately flush with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes, occasionally opening the upper and lower eyelids.
Skin: Immediately flush skin with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. Remove contaminated clothing.
