Flavor Profile
Flavorah Blueberry tastes like a handful of berries picked warm off the bush on a July morning: juicy, a little tart, and honest.
The aroma is crushed fresh blueberries with a faint floral note. Opening notes are juicy and clean with a tart skin, the body deepens into a gently jammy sweetness with a seedy, earthy rind, and the finish is lightly dry. This is the real blueberry of pancakes, jam, and ice cream, not a candy imitation.
Intensity is moderate to strong. Blueberry stands on its own and layers easily: with muffins, yogurts, and mixed berries, with mint, and even with savory flavors. Over-use brings a floral, perfumed edge, so start small and build. It is the berry behind many favorite breakfast memories.
Create Endless and Indelible Memories with Flavorah
All the flavors that we make at Flavorah are designed for mixing complex, layered recipes for products that may be consumed. Even though this Blueberry flavor will stand alone with memorable and captivating notes, we believe you will enjoy it most when you blend it with other flavors. It is our mission to create concentrates and extracts that become a powerful tool of flavor art in your culinary palette.
Use this Blueberry flavoring concentrate to develop your own artistic creations. As you blend it together with other complementary flavor layers, it will develop nuances and notes that either soften or strengthen according to your desire.
The layers of a completed flavoring profile can come from another Flavorah concentrate, such as Raspberry or Greek Yogurt, or from the medium you choose to mix it with. Try mixing Flavorah in baked goods, sweet frosting, syrups, a sugar-free smoothie, or a cocktail beverage.
Flavorah makes flavor art into an expression of individual perception and beauty. Our flavoring is designed to empower you to communicate this balance of potent perfection with the sense of taste and smell. Our Blueberry flavoring can harness the passing moments of enjoyment that will be experienced by everyone who samples your creation.
Flavorah is a product meant for the artist who wants to be tasted not heard, and smelled but not seen.
We know success when we see the satisfaction on the faces of our customers who create their own recipes. We delight in seeing our customers' recipes making the world a more bountiful experience for everyone to enjoy.

Mixing Notes
For muffins and pancakes, let Blueberry supply the fresh top note and a bakery flavor carry the crumb. If a blend turns floral, ease off Blueberry before adding more partners.
Building a Recipe
Start with a small amount of Blueberry, taste, and build in small steps, testing in your own batch before you make more. As the star of a recipe it sits toward the middle of each range; as a fresh top note over a muffin or cream, lower. Most finished profiles combine two to four flavors, so settle their ratios before raising the total.
DIY Flavoring in the Kitchen or Behind the Bar
- Beverages (home brew, cocktails, sodas): 0.03-1.5% of the finished drink; start at 0.1%, about 7 drops per 8 oz glass or about 19 ml in a 5-gallon home brew.
- Custom syrups: 2% or stronger (1 part flavor to 50 parts syrup); start at 2%, about 1 tsp per cup of syrup. Make it bold, then dose the syrup to taste.
- Baking: 0.2-3% by weight of batter or dough; start at 1.5%, about 1 1/2 tsp per 500 g of cake batter. Muffins, pancakes, and coffee cakes carry it well.
- Frostings, fillings, dairy, and frozen: 0.1-2% by weight; start at 0.3%, about 45 drops per 500 g of frosting. A natural partner for yogurt and cheesecake bases.
- Candy and gummies: 0.2-4% by weight; start at 0.5%, about 1/2 tsp per 500 g batch. Add as the batch cools.
- DIY fishing bait: 0.5-5% or higher by weight of bait; start at 1%, about 1 tsp per pound of dough bait.
- DIY animal attractants: 1-5% or higher by weight; start at 2%, about 1 3/4 tsp per pound of attractant.
- Home aroma (candles, diffusers, room sprays): 1-5% by weight of wax or base; start at 2%, about 1 3/4 tsp per 16 oz candle.
