Liquid acai flavoring concentrate. Heat stable and water soluble. Made from FEMA GRAS ingredients for ingestion, and formulated for mixing food and beverage recipes with potent flavor notes. Usage Rate: 0.50 – 5.00%
FLV Acai Tasting Notes:
Tart red berry, crisp and dry. Acai is a light flavor that can be added as a top note or subtle note on a base. Not a base flavor in itself, but good to add dimensions to a full bodied flavor that needs high end zip.
All the flavors that we make at Flavorah are designed to mix complex and layered recipes for products that may be consumed. Even though this Acai flavor will stand alone with memorable and captivating notes, we believe you will enjoy it most when you blend with other flavors. It is our mission to create concentrates and extracts that become a powerful tool of flavor art in your culinary palette.
Use this Acai flavoring concentrate to develop your own artistic creations. As you blend it together with other complementary flavor layers, it will develop nuances and notes that either soften or strengthen according to your desire.
The layers of a completed flavoring profile can come from another Flavorah concentrate, or from the medium you choose to mix it with. Try mixing Flavorah in baked goods, sweet frosting, syrups, sugar free smoothie, or a cocktail beverage.
Flavorah makes flavor art into an expression of individual perception and beauty. Our flavoring is designed to empower you to communicate this balance of potent perfection with the sense of taste and smell. Our Acai flavoring can harness the passing moments of enjoyment that will be experienced by everyone who samples your creation.
Flavorah is a product meant for the artist who wants to be tasted not heard, and smelled but not seen.
We know success when we see the satisfaction on the faces of our customers who create their own recipes. We delight in seeing our customers' recipes making the world a more bountiful experience for everyone to enjoy.
Flavor Profile
Flavorah Acai delivers an authentic Brazilian superberry experience with vibrant purple tartness and subtle earthy undertones. The aroma presents a deep, antioxidant-rich berry character with hints of grape and tropical complexity.
Opening notes reveal juicy, tart berry with a natural sharpness that signals authenticity. The body develops into smooth, slightly floral territory with faint grape undertones that add sophistication. The finish is clean and jammy, mellowing into rich complexity without artificial sweetness.
This is a moderately intense flavor that captures the true essence of acai bowls. The natural profile makes it ideal for health-inspired applications and tropical blends where authentic berry depth is essential.
Complementary Flavors
Flavorah Acai creates exceptional blends with tropical fruits and cream bases. Its tartness beautifully cuts through sweeter fruits while adding sophisticated berry depth.
- Flavorah Banana: 1:1 ratio for classic acai bowl profile
- Flavorah Greek Yogurt: 2:1 for tangy breakfast parfaits
- Flavorah Cream: 3:1 for smooth tropical desserts
- Flavorah Lemonade: 4:1 for bright, refreshing beverages
- Flavorah Virginia Tobacco: 5:1 for complex fruit-tobacco blends
Recipe Concepts
Create an authentic acai bowl base by combining with Flavorah Banana and Flavorah Greek Yogurt. For tropical punch profiles, blend with mango or pineapple flavors. The tartness cuts through sweeter fruits beautifully.
Mixing Notes
Cap usage at 2% to avoid dry mouthfeel. Best in lighter mixes where the antioxidant-rich character can shine. Allow adequate resting time to mellow initial sharpness into jammy richness.
Beverage Applications
For smoothies and acai bowls, add 0.3-0.5% to the base before blending. The authentic berry character elevates health-focused beverages. For cocktails, add 2-4 drops per 100ml to create sophisticated berry profiles.
Sparkling water applications use 1-2 drops per 100ml for subtle tropical refreshment. Hard seltzer producers should add 0.2-0.4% post-fermentation for natural berry depth.
Dairy and Frozen
Add 0.3-0.5% to ice cream base before churning for authentic acai flavor. For yogurt parfaits, fold in 0.2-0.4% gently. The natural tartness complements dairy beautifully.
- Ice cream: 0.3-0.5% of base before churning
- Yogurt: 0.2-0.4% folded in gently
- Smoothies: 3-5 drops per 8oz serving
- Milkshakes: 0.25-0.5% blended thoroughly
Confectionery Applications
For gummy candy, add 0.3-0.5% to the cooled mixture before molding. The natural berry flavor creates sophisticated candy profiles without artificial character.
Usage Notes
Flavorah concentrates are highly potent. Start at less than 0.75% and adjust upward. Resting time is essential for mellowing initial sharpness into rich, jammy complexity.
