This flavor is like sliding down a glacier into a lake and stepping out in the buff with a strong wind. A standard flavor for anyone making their own . This mixes well with any fruit flavor for a refreshing fruit taste. Highly Concentrated Flavoring for mixing at 0.5 – 5% solution Makes approximately 300ml of Contains zero nicotine GRAS listed food grade flavoring Non-Flavoring ingredients: Propylene Glycol and Ethyl Alcohol Special Note: Do not refrigerate this flavor. If this flavor is cooled below room temperature menthol crystals will develop. Warm the flavor to approximately 100F and shake in order to melt the menthol crystals.

Recipe Concepts

Create menthol tobacco by combining with Flavorah Virginia Tobacco. For icy slushies, blend with Flavorah Blue Raz or other candy fruits. Works as essential cooling element in countless applications.

Mixing Notes

The balanced cooling is smooth rather than harsh. Pairs naturally with fruits and tobaccos. Can be layered with other cooling agents for intensity. Start conservatively as menthol builds.

Beverage Applications

For menthol drinks and cooling beverages, add 0.1-0.3% to base for refreshing character. The clean profile creates icy drinks. For mint cocktails, add 1-2 drops per 100ml.

  • Iced beverages: 0.1-0.3% for cooling
  • Mint cocktails: 1-2 drops per 100ml
  • Slushies: 0.15-0.25% for icy effect

Confectionery Applications

For menthol candy and cooling confections, add 0.15-0.3% to the mixture. Creates refreshing mint treats.

  • Hard candy: 0.15-0.3% at end of cook
  • Gummies: 0.15-0.25% in cooled mixture
  • Chocolate mints: 0.1-0.2% for cooling

Frozen Applications

For extra-cool ice-pops and frozen treats, add 0.1-0.25% to base. Enhances frozen character with menthol coolness.

Usage Notes

Flavorah concentrates are highly potent. Start at less than 0.15% and adjust. Menthol intensity builds with higher percentages.

Flavorah® is a food grade flavoring concentrate intended for further processing in products that may be ingested. This product is a raw material and must be further processed for use; not for personal consumption in this form. Flavorah can be used in any application that requires GRAS (Generally Recognized as Safe) for food ingredients. See MSDS for futher saftey and handling instructions.

WARNING: Exposure may result in irritation of the eyes, skin, nose, throat and respiratory tract. Avoid contact with undiluted flavor concentrate. If contact is made, seek medical attention as follows:

  • Eyes: Immediately flush with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes, occasionally opening the upper and lower eyelids.
  • Skin: Immediately flush skin with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. Remove contaminated clothing.
  • Ingestion: Harmful if swallowed. Nausea and vomiting may occur. Call poison control: 1 (800) 222-1222

WARNING: This product may contain compounds that may be hazardous to your health. We do not add Diacetyl or Acetyl Propionyl (a/k/a 2,3-pentanedione) to any of our products, however diacetyl and/or acetyl propionyl may naturally occur in the flavor extraction process in some of our products.
