Flavor Profile
Flavorah Banana tastes like the banana pudding at a family reunion, the one that disappears first: smooth, creamy, and perfectly ripe.
The aroma is a freshly peeled, perfectly ripe banana, never green and never overripe. Opening notes are smooth and soft like real fruit, the body turns creamy and mellow, close to banana pudding without the custard, and the finish is light and clean with a whisper of fibrous texture.
Banana is a potent flavor, so start lower than you would with most fruits. It is a rich base for other fruits and for desserts, and it shines with cream, peanut butter, honey, and vanilla. Pushed too far it takes over a recipe and can drift toward a candy-like banana; a little goes a long way.
Create Endless and Indelible Memories with Flavorah
All the flavors that we make at Flavorah are designed for mixing complex, layered recipes for products that may be consumed. Even though this Banana flavor will stand alone with memorable and captivating notes, we believe you will enjoy it most when you blend it with other flavors. It is our mission to create concentrates and extracts that become a powerful tool of flavor art in your culinary palette.
Use this Banana flavoring concentrate to develop your own artistic creations. As you blend it together with other complementary flavor layers, it will develop nuances and notes that either soften or strengthen according to your desire.
The layers of a completed flavoring profile can come from another Flavorah concentrate, such as Peanut Butter or Vanilla Pudding, or from the medium you choose to mix it with. Try mixing Flavorah in smoothies, sorbet, gummies, or a tropical cocktail.
Flavorah makes flavor art into an expression of individual perception and beauty. Our flavoring is designed to empower you to communicate this balance of potent perfection with the sense of taste and smell. Our Banana flavoring can harness the passing moments of enjoyment that will be experienced by everyone who samples your creation.
Flavorah is a product meant for the artist who wants to be tasted not heard, and smelled but not seen.
We know success when we see the satisfaction on the faces of our customers who create their own recipes. We delight in seeing our customers' recipes making the world a more bountiful experience for everyone to enjoy.

Recipe Ideas
Banana Pudding: Banana, Cheesecake, Mocha, Vanilla Pudding, and Lemon at 6:2:2:2:1. Peanut Butter Banana Pudding: Vanilla Pudding, Banana, Peanut Butter, and Sweetness at 12:4:4:1. Caramel Banana Macchiato: Cream, Mocha, Vanilla Custard, Banana, and Caramel at 10:8:4:3:3. Banana Pineapple Smoothie: Banana, Milk, and Pineapple at 6:4:3. Mixing Notes
A small touch of Lemon keeps banana desserts bright. Because Banana is potent, let cream and pudding flavors carry the volume while Banana stays the smaller number.
Building a Recipe
Start small, taste, and build in small steps, testing in your own batch. Banana is potent, so it sits at the low end of most ranges; in baked banana breads and puddings where banana is the star, it can move higher. Set the ratios first, then adjust the total.
DIY Flavoring in the Kitchen or Behind the Bar
- Beverages (home brew, cocktails, sodas): 0.03-1.5% of the finished drink; start at 0.03%, about 2 drops per 8 oz glass or about 1 1/4 tsp in a 5-gallon home brew.
- Custom syrups: 2% or stronger (1 part flavor to 50 parts syrup); start at 2%, about 1 tsp per cup of syrup. Make it bold, then dose the syrup to taste.
- Baking: 0.2-3% by weight of batter or dough; start at 2.5%, about 2 1/2 tsp per 500 g of cake batter. Banana bread and puddings carry it at the higher end.
- Frostings, fillings, dairy, and frozen: 0.1-2% by weight; start at 0.1%, about 15 drops per 500 g of frosting.
- Candy and gummies: 0.2-4% by weight; start at 0.2%, about 30 drops per 500 g batch. Add as the batch cools.
- DIY fishing bait: 0.5-5% or higher by weight of bait; start at 0.5%, about 68 drops per pound of dough bait. A sweet, creamy banana is worth testing in dough baits.
- DIY animal attractants: 1-5% or higher by weight; start at 1%, about 1 tsp per pound of attractant.
- Home aroma (candles, diffusers, room sprays): 1-5% by weight of wax or base; start at 1%, about 1 tsp per 16 oz candle.
